Pack communications

We use an app called "Band" for messages and event info for our Pack. The icon for it in the app store is a green square. You can request to join or get the app from this link:

There is a group in Band for the Pack, and one for each Den for communications to that age level. Every den has their events posted in their den's Band "Events" tab.

Uniform

The uniform is an important piece of the scouting program. It is highly encouraged that all scouts purchase a uniform shirt to wear to scout events. The key items to get started would be a shirt, neckerchief, and slide. Other items that are available are a belt (for displaying Lion through Bear adventure awards), pants/shorts, socks, hat, etc.

Scoutbook Mobile App

There is an optional app for Android and IOS that allows you to see your child's completion progress for adventures and overall rank status. The article below has links to the respective apps. "Scouting" is for parents, "myScouting" is for older scouts or adults who are logging in for themselves.

From a computer, you can view the full Scoutbook+ portal for your children at: https://advancements.scouting.org/. This portal uses the same login that you used when registering your child.

If you don't have a login, create or recover your account from https://my.scouting.org

If a second parent creates an account, and needs to be linked to the child, message Cory Knutson with the scout membership id of the new parent account to get started.

Financial Concerns

If anyone would like to participate in scouts, but there are financial concerns being a blocker, please reach out to Cory or Melanie. We have a few areas that we can check for help with making the program available to those interested.
